New to PDX

TriMet, the Portland Public Transportation authority has just changed the name of the Fareless Square to the Free Rail Zone as buses are no longer free in the zone. The Streetcar and MAX are now the only systems that are free in the zone, but the zone area has not changed.

Although some people are against the change, it does simplify the system as there are so many different bus routes that it was complicated to understand what part of the route was free.
